About Angie

A ngie Anderson, founder of Belle Behind the Ball Wedding & Event Planning, built her business from a lifelong passion for creating extraordinary celebrations. Known for her vibrant personality, meticulous eye for detail, and seamless execution, Angie brings both artistry and precision to every event she designs. Her couples value not only her creativity and leadership, but also the confidence of knowing their wedding is being orchestrated by someone who treats their celebration as if it were her own.

For Angie, event planning is more than a profession — it’s a calling. Encouraged by family and friends to follow her dreams, she has spent almost two decades curating sophisticated weddings that reflect her clients’ unique stories and leave lasting impressions on their guests.

Originally from New Jersey, Angie now calls Indiana home after meeting her husband, Keith, while on vacation. Together, they enjoy exploring the Michiana foodie scene, supporting local businesses, attending live music events, and staying active. Angie treasures time with her family, especially her stepson Ethan, and is grateful every day to do what she loves: helping couples celebrate life’s most meaningful moments with elegance, ease, and joy.

Alex | Executive Assistant

Alexandria has been priceless for our team, helping us manage all of the tasks and follow up throughout so much of the wedding planning process. Her attention to detail makes her perfect for our team. On Wedding Days, you will find her assisting our Brides as the Bridal Attendant! Alex is married with two adorable little boys and a precious new daughter!

McKayla | Event Assistant

McKayla is an incredible member of our team, executing our event set up day of and assisting with packaging up items at the end of the evening. McKayla loves to travel and we often spend time chatting about her recent trips!

Curious where we design and collaborate with our couples?

Belle Behind the Ball operates from two thoughtfully chosen workspaces to best serve our couples. Angie primarily works from her private home office, where she offers the flexibility to connect during the non-traditional hours many of our busy clients prefer. This ensures seamless communication and access to resources whenever inspiration — or a question — arises.

For in-person meetings, we are proud to welcome couples and vendors at our professional office located at Eddy Street Commons, directly across from the University of Notre Dame. This elegant space provides conference rooms and meeting areas designed for meaningful collaboration in the heart of South Bend’s most vibrant district.

Angie is the best there is! Everything was PERFECT! The day went so much smoother than I ever could have hoped and the reception was STUNNING! We had such a blast and I know all of our guests did too. Every detail was lovely and all of the vendors did a wonderful job. We cannot thank Angie enough for the time and hard work she put into our day, it did not go unnoticed. I would not have changed a single thing about the day, it truly was the best day ever!

We are so thankful and grateful that we were able to work with Belle Behind the Ball throughout the wedding planning process. Angie and Alex made our lives 1000% easier on our wedding day and took care of so many details that didn’t even cross our minds. It’s tough to imagine how the day would have gone without them and we are very glad we don’t have to know. From keeping us on track, to getting stains out of my dress, to packing up everything at the end of the reception (my parents loved that), their work allowed us to truly relax and be present for our wedding day – we had so much fun!! Beyond that, Angie’s vendor connections are terrific. Everyone she introduced us to was friendly, experienced, and professional. Highly recommend working with Belle Behind the Ball for your wedding!!

Angie was amazing!! We hired her for her day-of-coordinator services and she did an excellent job. I was a very stressed bride with wedding planning but on the day of the wedding I was so care free because of Angie and her team. They set up the reception better than I could’ve imagined, coordinated with all the vendors, were incredibly detail oriented and knew which questions to ask, and took care of everything all day long. Truly could not have done it without Belle Behind the Ball!!! 10/10 would recommend.
